  • Mighty Hunter

I found the character Bridget very frustrating in her impulsive moves she made when angry. That aside, I enjoyed the book.

  • Great Series Starter

Michelle M. Pillow did a great job with this series starter. The character work was fantastic and the story line was engaging. I can't wait to read the rest of this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • A MUST READ

Michelle M Pillow must have a magical pen. I've never gotten into the mermaid/merman books UNTIL now! It was actually based in the Atlantis mythos & not just another shifter book. The world building is exquisite and the characters are very likable. Not to mention the parts dripping with sex. Caderyn is hot, hot, hot! Bridget though, is so frazzled at times you want to smack her upside her head and at other times so excited you can't help but smile. This is easily a 10 star book and I highly recommend it!

  • So much to love

There was so much to love about this book so it's probably best to break it down in Iris speech since what I look for in a book my not be everyone else's cup of tea. First and foremost, I love a strong heroine. The fact that The fact that Bridget, is grateful that Caderyn saved her but still insists on a level of autonomy and independence was huge for me. Granted her thought process went 0 to 60 in the blink of an eye and was often difficult to understand why she couldn't just ask Caderyn or Aidan when her mind had her going into panic mode is beyond me. But then I didn't almost drown and wake up in Atlantis surrounded by Merr folk. Secondly, I'm all for insta-love stories. I believe they have a time and place. But I loved the fact that this was steeped in a sort of realism in that aspect. Bridget didn't fall instantly in love with her savior. In lust... yes. In love... not so much. She made him work for it. There wasn't a thing I did not enjoy about The Mighty Hunter. That for me says a lot since I always find something to break up the monotony of fantasy perfection. I absolutely loved this book and can't wait to read the rest of the series.
