Clueless man, daughter, spunky asst...nuff said.

I received a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. This is an amazing book! I have been awaiting its release so I could review it. I love the story of an alpha male, totally in control of his business and what he thinks his future is, who is suddenly made aware of the fact that he is a father. The power of this story is how he comes to deal with this change in his life. He is totally clueless up front and, without the help of his assistant, he would not have made it. This is more than a love story. It is the story of this man's coming-of-age and his acceptance into his heart of so much more than just a woman...as is standard in the romance genre. You will truly enjoy his spunky assistant. She basically forces him to face things head on since trying a softer approach didn't work. She's one tough cookie who you will be shouting for. She's more than capable of making the hard decisions. Rest assured, however, that there is a happily ever after...and one you'll be cheering for. Be prepared to break out the tissues on this one. You will find yourself pulled into the story so deep that you'll think you're actually there. This is definitely a book that deserves to be read over and over. It is one of those books that has an impact that will have you thinking about it long after you're done reading. Kudos to the author for another great book!!

Loved! This! Book! One of my favorites this year. Dane Bergman is a highly successful and very busy. Just the way he likes his life. When he suddenly finds himself sole guardian and father to a four year old daughter he never knew he had he's definitely in over his head. Thank goodness for his personal assistant, Pamela Atwater. When he tries to push all responsibility for his daughter on to her shoulders, she demands he take a month long vacation to get to know his daughter and learn to care for her himself. If not, Pamela walks! He agrees with one stipulation. Pamela must come with. Not good. So not good. How will she resist him for a month??? This one is very well written and the relationships that are built are heartwarming. I really loved these characters and think others will too. I definitely recommend this one for everyone's must read list!

    Daddy?

Pamela Atwater & Dane Bergman work together. Getting into a more intimate relationship would be foolish, right? What if there was a child in the mix? Pam is Dane's amazing assistant. He literally could not do his job and have his company run without her. She is his right-hand woman. There is no attraction between them. Well, not until she is forced to help him with the daughter her never knew. Then when they go away together, like a family, they both notice the attraction. Dane is feeling uncertain for the first time in a very long time. All of a sudden he finds out he is a father. He finds out he is attracted to his assistant. Can he handle both without losing it? Pam knows she has feelings for her boss. She was already considering he options as far as her job and working for him went. Then comes Dani. The most wonderful little girl who just lost her mother. Pam falls for her instantly. Can she keep from falling the rest of the way for Dane? Dane knows without Pam he cannot get to know his daughter, Danielle. She does not like him and won't give him the time of day. She seems to relate to and like Pam. So he does what any millionaire employer would do. He tells Pam she will help him and he will pay her more. Such a fun story. The learning to adjust period has its ups and downs and makes it fun for the reader. The banter is classic and the characters are loveable. This is book # 5 in the Men of the Zodiac series. ******This ARC copy was given free from Netgalley.com and the publisher, for review purposes. My honest opinion was given and does not reflect Netgelley, nor its affiliates.

    sweet, heartbreaking and funny

I love, love, LOVE Roxanne Snopek’s books. The characters are always so interesting and full of life, while the plot just keep me glued to the pages. Dane is one of those hottie billionaires that are so popular in romances – he’s smooth, gorgeous, wealthy, and knows how to play just as hard as he works. He’s also anti-commitment … then the ultimate commitment, a little girl, lands on his doorstep and shakes up his world. Luckily he has his oh-so-efficient assistance to help, but the more time they spend together, the more attracted to her he becomes. Pam knows exactly the kind of man her boss is – short term affairs with gorgeous women. But she also knows how smart and sexy he is. Forced together thanks to a haunted little girl, she’s finding him super-hard to resist. She’s just about the only person in the world who will force him to be the dad that he can be. But can she live with (or without) the man she makes him into … Dani is just too adorable and the interactions between the three of them as they learn how to navigate new waters is just too darn sweet, heartbreaking and funny all rolled into one addictive ball. They are totally believable and touching as they slowly become a family unit. And just because some might find the secretary/boss fantasy a little clichéd doesn’t mean that in the hands of a great author like Snopek the dynamic can’t be just about perfect. Daddy Dane

This was a heartwarming tale and just what I needed as a pick me up on a cold spring day. Dane was a millionaire with a devastating tale as to how he grew up and became the stubborn delicious alpha that he is. He finds his self at a loss when he discovers that he is the father to a four year old little girl (Danielle), which he knew nothing about once her mother passes away. So what's the boss to do, ask his assistant for help. Pamela is Dane's assistant and basically helps him run the company but always lets her opinion be known even if its with the raise of an eyebrow. Helping Dane get on solid ground with his daughter at his house on the island where he was raised, they start to see each other in a personal light which leads to complications once they return home. I loved the fact that even though Pamela was the assistant she took no stuff from her boss regardless of her position. Also the things that Danielle(daughter) was going through helped her father to also become a better man and realize that what he wanted was staring him in the face all along. This was definitely a sweet read and I can't wait to check out more in the series.
