  • Another magical read!

Oh My Stars! Every book gets better than the last! "The Moonlight Masquerade" is so exciting, so thrilling, so magical....I could not put it down!!! We pick up where we left off at in "The Vampire Trap" and the magical work of Rachel Morgan is at work once again. Weaving her magic into this incredible series, enthralling us with her enticing web of tales and leaving us breathless and wanting more!

  • Best Cinder-Elle

Another superb book in this series. The Godmother has set her price and Elle is desperate but only wants to pretend to pay it. The plot thickens with the vampires making their move. But what's the Godmother's motif? And when will we learn more about Elle's mother? Will our Cinder-Elle kill her prince at the ball? Will she loose her glass slipper? Read it yourself!

  • Midnight Masquerade

This is a great read. It's so easy to get lost in the story. Looking forward to the next installment.

  • Can't wait for book four

This is such a fun series and perfect for quick reads here and there. After summoning what appears to be her last hope, Elle now discovers the price of the Fairy Godmother's wish, and it's something she can't morally do. Still, Elle sees no other way out of her impossible situation and makes the deal. Her intention—to find a loop-hole and trick the Fairy Godmother. But it's not something which is easily pulled off. Each of these novellas is like reading a few chapters in a continuous story, and I can only hope these are available as a set some day. The books are like biting little morsels of a delicious desert. Each book creates a fantastic atmosphere of magic, tension, secrets, romance and hope. This third installment starts off with a bang as the reader realizes what the Fairy Godmother is really asking even if Elle doesn't. At first. It's hard not to fever for Elle, since her situation is more than difficult and doesn't only involve her. It's easy to feel for her as she makes a tough decision whether or not to take the wish, and had me sitting on the edge of my seat as I hoped her plan wouldn't backfire. However, I was a little surprised that Elle ever thought her plan would work (which I'm still not sure if it does or not since it's not clear yet) and almost switched my rating down a star because of this. This third book has gripped me as much as the first two. I'm hoping to see more of the other characters in the next book and can't wait to see what secrets and intrigue....and magic?...still lay in wait. I received a complimentary copy and loved reading every page. So, I'm leaving my honest thoughts.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Torn...

*I received an advance copy from this author. This does not affect my review. This review is voluntary.* I'm torn on this review...I love this series, and enjoyed reading this one, but I actually guessed many of the twists in this one were coming after reading Ep. 2, and the ending on this one was...a little weird, although I enjoyed the very end, and can't wait to read more! As mentioned, these books are too short, and $3 is a lot for a half-hour read when many other books closer to normal length are the same price. I'd love to see this series combined in a boxset when finished, since readers who enjoy the series aren't going to want to stop after every book! I loved seeing Dex and Elle in this one, and enjoyed the mystery, though as mentioned, I expected most of the twists this time, it led to more questions, and some interesting suggestions that I'm hoping will be mentioned next time.

    Thanks for your feedback!
