    Respect:

The Mountain Story reinforced my respect for The Mountain Story reinforces respect for Mother Nature, faith, hope and tenacity. stay focused and do not blame or be critical of others. I walked away with greater knowledge of survival tips. Once you start a Lori Lansens book there is no putting out down until the closing page. Love the way she writes.

    Survival... and more

Why did I wait so long to read this book! I loved it. The author weaves a story filled with conflict and emotion. The story of Wolf(I like his real name, Wilfed) is so sad and he becomes such a strong man, stranded on the mountain. The stories of the women who are stranded with him are great, the courage shown by these three women is nothing short of amazing. I loved the way the author was able to put me right there on the mountain with the characters, I could feel the cold and the hunger and thirst that they were feeling. This story is about more than surviving though, it's about relationships. Relationships between father and son, mothers and daughters, friends and enemies. A great read and one that will stay in my head for a while...

    An incredible read!

This was an amazing book. I loved each character in a different way. I found the story to be about loss, personal challenge, damaged relationships and in the end....redemption. I didnt want it to end.

    Just okay

I felt the book dragged on too long in parts. By the time I was finished reading I was glad to be done. I wouldn't count this as one of my favourites.

This was an amazing story. Lesson learned - will never go on a hike without some life saving tools. Can't wait to read another book by this author.
