  • Murder Road

I enjoyed this book. Easy to read. Long chapters. Good story. Keeps you guessing the whole story. Good ending. Will try another by this author soon

  • The Murder Road

I didn't care for this. Many of the British terms are unfamiliar and the story moved way too slowly. I just don' t care that much about the English countryside that I need page after page of description. I'm not likely to read this author again.

  • The Murder Road

Too little actual story, too much by way of local geography. Not enough character relationship building.

  • The Murder Road

A story involving the death of a young married woman, a suicide, a complicated family bent on revenge, and the murder of a lorry driver. Some reviews have commented on the “travelogue” similarity of Stephen Booth’s writing style; to me, this is one of the aspects that I like. Each mention of a town on or near the Peak District is enticing. I get on Google Earth and search the town or place and the story opens up and gives me an awe-inspiring look at one of the most beautiful areas in England.

    Thanks for your feedback!
