Touched me on so many levels

4.5 Stars for The Nanny Rules Melynda Price is a new author to me and I really don’t t understand why I haven’t come across her before now and I will certainly be checking out other works by her. Brody has lost his wife and he is doing the best he can and trying to be a good parent but with his busy game schedule it’s hard to always be there when his daughter needs him but he refuses to admit he needs help and it’s only when his sister steps in and hires a nanny does he realise this is what is needed for his daughter and him. Mia is not only good with his daughter she is also stunning but Brody really doesn’t want help and he certainly doesn’t want a distraction but he just can’t fire her ... This is a very emotional read, it will tug on your heartstrings and it will touch you on so many levels, I loved watching Brody and Mia slowly open up to each and I was captivated from the first page to the last line. This is a classic example of Love will always find a way !!!!!

    Another great summer read!

Amelia is in love with her boss, Brody Evans, NFL quarterback, and father of a wonderful little girl named Lily. However, Brody has trust issues because his wife who was killed in a car accident a year ago was having an affair with his teammate. When Amelia decides to give in to Brody’s charms, she begins to have doubts about his feelings and though it it is breaking her heart, she is considering accepting the new internship that is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Will Brody make the right choice? I enjoy romances where there is love on one side and the other partner takes time to come around realizing the wonderful person that has been there for them the whole time. There were times I wanted to slap Brody for the things he said to Amelia, but his grand gesture makes up for his denseness. There is also a sweet family dynamic thrown in with Brody’s adorable daughter, Lily. A charming and sexy sports romance that is steamy and sweet. Another great summer read! Thank you to Ms. Price for giving me the opportunity to review this book with no expectation of a positive review.

    Nanny Mine

Feel like I have read this story before but cannot remember the name of author or the work. Well anyway we have a grieving man with a daughter Lily. When Amelia arrives as Lily's nanny; Brody has trouble forming a relationship with Mia even though his daughter tells him to go for it. Characters and story with a Hallmark appeal. A copy of this book was provided by Entangled via NetGally with no requirements for a review. Comments here are my honest opinion."

five-star read made to break all rules

The Nanny Rules by Melynda Price a five-star read that will make you want to break all the rules. This starts as one story and then turns into something so much deeper and more honest. Lily was such a great character, I sometimes find children in novels to be a little to well done, but Lily had a realness to her, the little foibles and interactions were believable and well written that is what made this such a fantastic read. Amelia wasn’t someone I liked all the way through, at times I found I wanted to shake her, but in the end, I adored her and wanted to wish her well in everything. Brody was the one who played the long game, he made the most difference to the story, he went from broken man to player of my heart. This is a typical will they wont they, but its done very well.

    The Nanny Rules

This sports romance is touching and captivating. Brody is a single father who is trying to come to terms with the death of his wife. A wife who betrayed him and as a result has a hard time getting closure with what has happened. In the mean time being a quarterback he has to travel with his team. His sister hires her best friend for the job and Brody is upset. For one he finds himself drawn to Amelia and the more time he spends with her the stronger the bond adheres. Will Amelia be his second chance of finding love? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
