Great start to a new series

This was a really good book. I really liked the characters of Harrison and Sara as well as their extended families. I cannot wait to learn more about the brothers and sisters!

    Relatable and thought provoking ...

The trait I enjoy most in Iris Morland's work as an author is that she shows her characters as they are, not as they hope to be. That is what makes The Nearness of You so compelling. Two characters on a trip of self - discovery, exposing their flaws and regrets. Sara and Harrison's is a tale of new beginnings, happy endings and epic baggage along the way. However, it is also a story hope, forgiveness and gaining the chance to get things right. Ms. Morland exposes a journey that every person struggles through. Living a happy life. Relatable characters and thought provoking questions, prove that she got it right.

    Love Takes a Second Chance

Heartwarming emotional journey for a single mom and a great opposites that grew up in the same town but don't really spark till later in life romantic adventure. Very sweet love that grows from an unexpected place for both of them and a real relatable story about family and friends and the ties that bind us to one another. Her son is so adorable and Harrison is so sweet and has a huge heart. Highly entertaining start to this interesting new series by this wildly fun new author. Looking forward to the next visit to see The Thorntons.

    Good story

Loved the story and James was adorable. It won't keep me from reading more books but the editing needs some work. Lots of missing words, extra words and incorrect words.
