    THE NECESSITY OF ATHEISM

ALTHOUGH A BIT DATED, THE BOOK PROVIDED A VERY COMPREHENSIVE CRITIQUE OF ALL RELIGIONS, BASED ON WELL SELECTED QUOTES FROM VARIOUS "HOLY" BOOKS. THE INSLUSION OF "CONTEMPORARY" COMMENTS FROM OERSONS, B OTH WELL KNOWN AND LESS SO, WAS SUPPORTIVE. OVERALL, THE BOOK WAS EDUCATIONAL, INSIGHTFUL AND QUITE INTERESTING. THE CASE FOR ATHEISM WAS WELL MADE AND SHOULD GIVE READERS MUCH TO MEDITATE ON. ALTHOUGH ATHEISM HAS BEEN AROUND LONGER THSAN HAS CHRISTIANITY, THERE IS STILL A LONG WAY BEFORE ATHEISTS NUMBER OPENLY THOSE FOLLOWING CHRIST. HOWEVER, CLOSET ATHEISTS PROBABLY NUMBER NEAR TO THOSE WHO CLAIM MEMBERSHIP IN CHRISTIANITY AND WHO SECRETLY ARE NON-BELIEVERS.
