Sara has some crazy problems ensuing!

Sara starts out by going to a fest with Eshe in Pompeii, Italy. What should have been a fairly easy op turned into one of the craziest developments of Sara's career on the Council. Is it possible there are some ancient members of the Council still around? Are the Connected in danger from the regulars, and is there anything Sara can do about it? She's, once again, being overwhelmed by requests in her role as Justice, and craziness is blossoming everywhere she turns. The Shadow Court is out in 'full-court press' once again, with Jarvis Fuggerson front and center...except, is he? With all this going on, like crazy creatures that look like pterodactyl who attack in force; The Shadow Court upsetting the apple cart once again; Sara having way too much to do while still trying to figure out how to help Armaeus get his memory back and also wondering if maybe he shouldn't get it back; Eshe playing a role after so long, and, of course, the Council taking a back seat, unwilling to help, Sara is a bit at a loss as to how to handle all this. And, as if that weren't enough, an old legend about a possible old Council member, definitely an inactive member of the Connected community who's methods go against everything Sara believes, shows up as a possibility. But no one has had to worry about this one since it's all legend, this Night Witch seems to have popped up again. Is this something Sara can get on board with? Something she'd be willing to compromise her values to embrace? And, just who is this Night Witch? Wilde Justice shows that Jenn still has so much more going on in her head where Sara and the Arcana Council are concerned, (and, dare I mention, The Syx Demon Enforcers as well?) and it all keeps tying together so beautifully, book by book, that whenever I leave off with one book I'm already on the edge of my seat waiting for the next one! We have so many old faves showing up in this one, plus new characters as well. So much more to keep me involved to the hilt. Sara has become a character who's life is one I want to follow to the end...except I'm terrified I'll be finished before she will! Much as I never want the series to be over, hopefully, it will be completed the day before I am. That way I can see it through to the very end without missing a beat, and have the last book on Sara to take with me! Once again, as is always the case, Excellently Done, Jenn Stark! Excellently done, indeed! Keep them coming, cause I'll never get enough!

    war is coming

I have completely enjoyed Sara's evolution as she grows into being Justice Wilde. So reading about this next phase of her "growth" is something I have looked forward to especially if it meant the end of those pesky shadow as-you-please-pain-in-the. . . This time not only is she dealing with new or strengthening of her powers she will also have to deal with her emotional attachments and how they guide her moral responses. Yes Sarah will be tried and tested and how she responds/reacts will be paramount. Sariah resurfaces and her part in Sarah's testing and stretching could play a major role especially since the shadows know just how important she is to Sarah. I really hope this means we will see more of her in the upcoming books. Don't think Armeaus isn't still part of the picture. With his memories of what he should know and don't know still an issue or challenge he is always an added bonus both to her and the story and their story is always a nice addition. All in all Justice Wilde is still bringing lots of action, questions, growth, death and of course justice as she paves the way into your heart. She's through playing nice and with Sariah, The Magician, The Devil and the mounting support she is receiving from those in the wings, things with the shadow dorks are heating up and war is closer than ever.

    Compelling and Riveting

Jenn Stark hits it out of the park with her latest Wilde Justice book. Couldn't put it down and re-read it 3 times to make sure I didn't miss anything. Introduced the series to my daughter and she is hooked. Keep up the good work Jenn!!
