I’ve never lost interest in Gibson

Until this book. Really slowed down in the middle. It was only my affection for all of Gibson’s work prior to this that made me keep slogging through the doldrums at the middle of this book. The end picks up nicely and kind of makes up for the slow bits. Neat idea, as well. All in all, a fun return to sci fi for Mr. Gibson, but it’s no Neuromancer.

    Overwhelmingly Good

I've been telling my friends this book feels a little like a ride-along with an aerobatic jet team. It can be a little overwhelming and disorienting at first, but then as you settle in you realize that was part of the fun and makes the book very re-readable, too!

    Visions of the Future-Past?

A great read that is fast paced, engrossing and jaw droppingly amazing by turns.

    The Peripheral

I am a Gibson fan, but this one is next level. An original and fascinating plot line, believable textured characters and just great story telling. Gibson’s observations about technology and its impact on people are unique. I have read this book three times now and it continues to delight every time. I am really looking forward to the follow-up coming out early next year.

Back & onward again to SF

Interesting read, the most "science fiction" flavoured work of Gibson's in a while. Time travel through telepresence!
