    Thanks for your feedback!

    A poignant social sci-fi tale

The Poisoned Ground tells the story of one healer's efforts to save a city suffering from the effects of pollution caused by a nearby strip mine. This is a short story and set in another galaxy, but one that easily could have been set in America's rust belt. It's a story that looks at the question of how corporations and government corruption affect people who work in mines and the impact mining creates on local communities. I really liked it, especially in the current political climate.
