    Outdated content

I know this is an old book and expected it to be antiquated in several areas. What was interesting is just how ignorant psychology science was 75 years ago. It’s still poor in my own opinion but back then— wow. I laughed out loud when the author remarked about the miracle of digestion. Back then no one knew how the body turned food into tissues and fuel so he literally called that process miraculous lol. It was downhill from that point. Also quite a bit of phrase repitition. The meat of this book is the same - exactly the same - as any book that espouses “the power of positive thinking”.
