    A fairytale royal romance

Copy received from the author in exchange for an honest review. The title is a wee bit cheesy - bit too Mills and Boon for me but the story is fast paced with an appealing leading man. A quick read whilst sat in the sun.

    Awesome

An awesome read that is perfect for a cozy afternoon read. Very well written with a modern fairytale feel and with characters that work perfectly together. Crown Prince Nicholas is perfectly happy living his life carefree and wild. When tragedy strikes the royal family, he finds himself in a place he never expected to be, about to be the next king of his country. Isabel works for the royal family as a gardener. When a friendship blossoms between the two, Isabel knows she should stop things there but can't help being pulled in to something more. But she has secrets. Secrets that could be harmful to the Prince. This one is completely entertaining and I highly recommend it for everyone.

    quick read

The Prince’s Runaway Lover is supposed to be almost 200 pages long, but it read like a much shorter story. I found myself just flying through it, which is a great sign. The plot is pretty simple and Covington does a great job of keeping things tight. There isn’t a whole lot of extra things thrown in – besides the romance, we have Nicky’s troubles with adjusting to being the new king and the political issues that brings. It all makes sense and ties together very well. Nick is rich, gorgeous, confident and a Prince (now soon-to-be king), which all adds up to a man who gets what he wants when he wants it. And he wants Isabel … the girl doesn’t stand a chance. She resists but you know he’s going to win, mostly because she wants him to :) With the death of his brother, he’s a little lost and that lets down his guard so that Isabel also gets to see the very appealing man under the crown. I’m not sure why Nick is so surprised when everything goes wrong. He was the one pushing Isabel into getting involved (like the spoiled, sexy man that he is) and she told him all along that she had troubles that she couldn’t talk about. I did like that it was his mother who helped him get his head on straight and that had to be one of my favorite scenes in the entire book. Their heart-to-heart was just what was needed and adds something so very sweet to the story. (Complimentary copy provided in exchange for an honest review)

    3 1/2 stars

I'd give this 3 1/2 stars only to the fact it took a really hard to get into and just seemed to go on forever and ever. don't get me wrong the words on the pages was great, it's getting the story out that took to long. I think not enough details where here in some areas and just enough in other areas to get the page turned all in all it worked out for the story. ***I received this story for free in exchange for an honest review, see more of my review @ http://jmhoward2007.blogspot.com ***

What a bad boy prince he is!

The Men of the Zodiac is a really enjoyable series. This particular title moves away from the Billionaire theme in to Royalty. And even better it has a mysterious and dramatic storyline. Crown Prince Nicholas Lytton is an unconventional prince who is suddenly faced with shouldering the responsibility of an entire country. His early morning runs are an escape from his burdens and they get a lot more interesting when he is joined by a mysteriously silent running partner. Isabel has a past that she is running from and getting involved with a high profile royal is the last thing she needs. He needs a queen by his side and he is intent on pursuing her. She just wants to hide away from the rest of the world because she knows that she is the key to his ruin. I really enjoyed how persistent Nick is in his pursuit of her and how much Isabel wants to protect Nick from her history. Things do get rocky for a bit but in the end, there is is a very lovely HEA.
