    Assassin Animals

Maybe I've seen too many 'Assassin Animals' B-movies in my life, making hard for me to enjoy these kind of plots, especially since more or less they all beginf and end the same way. Plus, I actually like rats. The characters are not bad, though and the book makes an interesting read overall.

    Rats

I was introduced to James Herbert through a friend recommending his work, as an avid Steven King fan I wasn't disappointed. Really cleverly thought out with twists and turns at every chapter. I'm now going to read lair, who knows James Herbert might have gained a new fan.

    Chilling and vivid

A chilling book about mutant rats. The backstories on some of their victims makes it especially easy to sympathise with them, getting to know them a bit, before they are brutally killed and devoured by giant rats.

    Great start to the trilogy

A perfect set up of a poor deprived area of London and the rats are there, no punches pulled by Herbert.
