    "The Reason I Jump - one boy's ....

....... voice from the silence of autism". Catching up on a few unread books, I started eith this book written by a 13 year old boy with autism. Incredibly it shows from his perspective - by answering a series of questions (often posed to him by "normal" people). Simply put, the book is at the same time, sad, uplifting and funny in the way he reveals the world of his autism but most suprisingly also how he feels and cares about those around him. He also had me thinking about a few things I often ignore or at least don't spend enough time on ...... funny that. Highly recomended reading!

    Moving

I almost wept several times. And I know no one with autism. If you have an autistic child/sibling/neighbour, this book is a MUST READ.
