  • Loved it!

Loved this story! A good friends to lovers story always gets me and this is a good one. Adored Maggie and Cooper and Evan is about the cutest kid ever! Cooper first saw Maggie 6 years ago but before he could make his move his friend approached her and that was that! When an unexpected pregnancy happens and his now ex friend runs for the hills, Cooper steps in as friend and protector and they've stayed close. Now he's injured and staying with Maggie and Evan while he recuperates. Things get spicy fast but are they willing to risk their friendship for what might be more?? And what happens when he has to leave again? This is definitely a book I recommend to everyone!

  • Friends to Lovers

I loved this story of Maggie, single mom and good friend Cooper, pro surfer. A friends to lovers story that will have you shedding happy tears, throughout the story. Evan, Maggie's little boy just stole my heart, so cute. Cooper and Maggie met six years ago, but with a missed opportunity, she hooks up with his friend and become pregnant. Copper becomes the friend and father to Evan, that the other man never did. Injured, Cooper is staying at Maggie's recovering from an accident, when the they decide to take their friendship up a level, but both are afraid it will ruin what they have. This is a well written book, that will leave you wanting more. Very well developed likable characters, that you will fall in love with too. I highly recommend this book ! I received this book from netgallley for an honest review.

  • Loved it!

Classic friends-to-lovers story. An excellent finale to the Millionaire Malones series. Great humor as well - this one had me laughing out loud a couple of times.

  • The Rebel

The Rebel by Victoria Purman is a well paced, heart filling friends to lovers romance. Cooper and Maggie have been friends for almost six years, neither of them ever acting on the hidden feelings they have for each other. Maggie is a single mother living in California, and Cooper is a professional surfer from Australia. The times they have together are full of friendship and comfort. For different reasons, they both are unwilling to risk anything more than friendship. When circumstances change, will they have the courage, love and strength to open their hearts to more? I enjoyed feeling like I was part of Cooper and Maggie's journey. I really liked these two characters. Victoria gave me a clear picture of what their relationship was like. Their connection, the dialogue between them, and the obvious care they have for one another was realistic and believable. I really felt for both of these characters, and could ache for what they were going through past and present. Their situations were well explained, and I felt like I understood where they came from. I liked the water theme (surfing) and what it means, how it makes Cooper feel, and how Maggie understands this. I really liked Maggie's son Evan and he plays an important role in The Rebel. Maggie's mother is a less visible secondary characters, but her place in The Rebel is valuable and necessary. The Rebel is book #2 of The Millionaire Malones, but it can easily be read as a stand alone. An easy to read story filled with heart and hope, I'd recommend The Rebel to any romance reader.

  • Cooper is the best Malone!

I thought the first 2 books were good but the 3rd is terrific. What a great guy Cooper is and quite unexpected. One would expect the vagabond playboy to not want to be burdened down by responsibilities, but this stand up guy takes on what isn't even his to bear. Fellow wanderer Maggie is as amazing a woman as Cooper. She gives up her dreams of exploring the world, living each day as it comes to be a full time mom when she discovers she's pregnant. And though she may miss that life, she has never regretted it. Evan is a sweetheart and deserves as much as she can provide The only thing missing is a man to depend on and when Cooper provides her with the opportunity she grabs on to it. Being in love with him for 6 years definitely helped in that decision besides the fact that they deserve each other and that they are perfect together. Expect quite a few laughs because there is some great humor but do be ready for frequent sniffles as this book is filled with sweet and emotional awww gawsh! moments. ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.
