    Swoony, funny romance

There are only a handful of authors who I rely on to deliver a romantic comedy that can make me laugh as much as it makes me swoon, but Miss Scott is one of them. The Rich Boy had all the hallmarks of Miss Scott’s talented voice: a fun, flirty romance that delivers heat along with a good story; an adorable hero who’s easy to fall for; a great cast of secondary characters; with smooth writing and lively dialogue to make for an easy, enjoyable read. But most of all it’s this author’s heroines like Alice that sparkle brightest- they’re dynamic and bold but still vulnerable. I’m not immune to the lure of a good fairy tale so I loved the ways parts of The Rich Boy echoed Cinderella. I also loved how the story started. Though it felt as though the feelings between Beck and Alice developed rather quickly, I liked that they had roots before his background was revealed. These two were cute from the outset and their simple start made it easy to root for the couple the whole way through. I especially appreciated how strong Alice was throughout the story, even when faced with seemingly insurmountable obstacles as she tries to adapt and fit in with her love’s family and lifestyle. Is The Rich Boy perfect, not quite, but with a heroine who felt relatable and tangible, it is yet another of Miss Scott’s books I want to read again and again. *eARC received via author's ARC group. Loved it!

Loved this book. The characters are so so likeable, I really didn’t want to let them go at the end of the book. Great story, great ending.

    Serious sweet read >3

I really liked Alice. She felt so authentic and just a regular girl trying to find her place after college. She's a waitress and can't help the new bus boys cute and totally flattering flirting. Beck is instantly drawn to Alice. He's already mentally planning their wedding. I can't tell you how much I love that role reversal. Anyways, Alice tries to pit up the good fight but really, she didn't stand a chance. These two had insta-spark, insta-chemistry. Of course a few dates in and the rug is pulled out from them. But I love that Alice lays it all on the line and drops it all. Now the fun really starts!!! You'll have to read it find out more! I found it to be a serious sweet read. I don’t mind good insta-love story when the guy is seriously smitten. Kylie Scott definitely pulled out all the stops for The Rich Boy; it was just so sweet and charming. I couldn't get enough of Alice and Beck and the secondary characters were fabulous!! Such a group! It all comes together giving off these slight fairytale vibes... like Cinderella. It's a classic for a reason! I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.

    Funny and awesome heroine

I always love the humor that comes with Kylie Scott's books, the sarcasm makes me giggle and the one-liners are hilarious. This heroine was amazingly strong in the face of all the adversity coming at her and made her presence not only known, but respected. A great tale of Rich Boy meets "normal girl" but written with a different flare.
