A read well worth the time.

It a good read, well composed and draws the reader into the situations be they good or bad. Worth the time to relax and be drawn into another place and time.

A wonderfully told story that takes place during WW2 . Follow two sisters as tbey struggle to survive after being sent to tbe countryside to escape London's bombs only to be subjected to perils that will break your heart. Satisfying read! Try it you'll like it!

    Good read

Enjoyed the story but not as captivating as the trilogy books. This was sometimes over simplistic and I had a challenge imagining these two young girls "on the run" living in barns, etc. But it was set in the forties so life was very different then . It was a feel good story with a happy ending. I definitely enjoyed the trilogy stories more.
