    Thanks for your feedback!

    Quite thought-proviking.. =)

Mr. Stargazer, your writing style captivated me by its depth through its simplicity.. The story is simple yet thought-proviking, it deserved the full mark.. But I believe you meant in your commentary you were "targeting" the Arab culture, & not Islam.. Paternalism & being conservative have long been weaved into the fabric of the Arab culture even before the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was tasked with the spreading of the message of Islam.. I just want to point out to you, & anyone who reads this story, that there's a difference between the Arab culture & Islamic teachings.. Many a times they meet, yet they differ at others.. There are those who practise evil in the name of religion & culture when religion & culture have nothing to do with such evil; such people are a breed of their own & only represent themselves.. & I believe all cultures have some qualities of a "totalitarian" society in them, & thoughts & practices that bring harm to loved ones for the sake of saving one's "reputation" in the eyes of a community that holds no respect for the individuals of said community should be questioned..

    Good Read!

I was sad to see this short story end. Would like to see more of Leila and her adventures with the Sandman.
