    Sexy Science

Who knew that so much heat could be generated in a lab without Bunsen burners? Who knew that science could be so much fun? Kate Ramsey has made great strides professionally and is one of the youngest biologists to lead a team of her own. She’s also involved in a secret relationship with her much older boss, but she is satisfied with her life. Until Tom Baker arrives. Tom with the face and body of a cover model. That Texan drawl. And brains. The first time their eyes meet, it’s instant chemistry. To give them credit, they tried to stay away from each other (after all it’s bad form to shag your subordinate), but could not resist the attraction between them. Smoldering glances, fleeting touches, stolen kisses all lead to a secret affair. Heads-up: keep a fan handy or some cold water, just something to cool you down because of the heat from the sexy times and they were a lot! In the hands (or in this case, mouth) of a master, words can be used to charm and seduce and beguile and that was the high point of this book for me! The dialogue between Tom and Kate was so much fun to read, especially the subtext of their conversations.Tom is a very fascinating character – confident, sexy, smart and dominant and I would have loved to read the story from his POV. Ms. Jacobs makes us fall in love alongside Tom and Kate as we enjoy their slow slide into love, their witty conversations, their fear of discovery and losing everything they’ve worked for and their happy ever after. The Science of Attraction is a combination of steamy heat and sweet romance and was so much fun to read. I can’t wait for the next book in the series. *Review copy provided by the author in exchange for an honest review*
