Great story of a computer geek and his butler!

This book kept me guessing until the end about how Emmeline’s past would be resolved completely. She is hiding a past that holds danger for her and I couldn’t figure out how she could move forward with her life while resolving her past. I enjoyed the pull and tug of Emmeline and Lucas’ growing romance as well as the side story of Lucas’ sister Stella’s wedding and relationship with her fiancé. Lucas is very clever in how he helps Emmeline in the end and winds up winning her love in the process – I loved this ending! Great ending to a great story!

Is this a problem he can solve?

I really like the lady butlers in this series. Emmaline finally got a job and it is near her two friends. She is taking care of Lucas' house and helping his sister with her wedding. She thinks that there might be a problem with Stella's wedding and she is very attracted to her employer. Lucas has been pretending that he hadn't met Emmaline before. She seems to be pretending that they never met too. He just can't get her out of his mind and it is getting harder to pretend. Emmaline is hiding from her past and knows that she can never have anything permanent. Lucas is all about solving problems, but is this something he can solve?

    Ingenious!

Only a skilled author can influence a reader in a way that touches their heart as well as their life. Ms. Ridgway has an ingenious way of using life experience and wise words to draw a reader in without them realizing the true extent of her impact. With laughter ringing in my ears and emotion bubbling from my heart, The Seduction gave me goose bumps with it's intoxicating characters. The takeaway lesson: Life is not about what is acquired, but appreciating the people and experiences as we take the short and bumpy ride.
