    The Seduction of Viscount Vice

Nicola is a new author I have read. This book is XXX all the way through the read. I do like this story but it is up to the reader to decide if they want to read it. Mairi's father's friend tried to rape her but she hit him and ran to Paris. Iain wanted to marry her but she was already gone. Vice, Iain, owns a Pleasure Club. He finds Mairi checking out his business, Fallen. Now she goes to her boss Yvette to find out how good Yvette is. Now she goes to another party and Iain/ Vice catches her again. Vice doesn't know she is working in another Club. He is fuming and turns his back to her. She is upset. She has always loved him. He has loved her. Mairi wants to get him back. There is about non-stop sex all the way to the end. It is fun,not evil. I like this book. I hope if you like XXX, you will try this short read. Enjoy your reading! I volunteered to read and review this book.

    Very Sexy Fun

Lord Iain (Vice) Vissen and his two friends own a pleasure club in London. It is only open to a very select and highly discrete section of society. He is a bit detail oriented over every part of the club even his own performances. Mairi MacNair ran away from home years ago and now works behind the scenes for a woman who rescued her. That woman wants to open a new club and needs information on the one that is most fashionable. This is an erotic historical romance, strictly for adults. The story line is great. Our protagonists have a very complicated history, and particular desires that might not be acceptable to some. For them to behave this way in that era was brave and for some of the secondary characters dangerous. A story that will leave your kindle steaming. Great fun.

This was a really HOT romance.

'The Seduction of Viscount Vice' by Nicola Davidson is book Three in the "Fallen" series. This is the story of Lord Iain 'Vice' Vissen and Lady Mairi MacNair. I have read the other books but feel this can easily be a standalone book. Mairi and Vice have met about 10 years ago when they were both young and innocent. Mairi was trying to get out of a marriage and ended up using Vice. Vice and Mairi did 'enjoy' each other but then Mairi disappeared. Vice was told that she had died and it had broken his heart. Now in the present day Mairi is working to become a leading lady instead of a behind the scene seamstress. To do so she is trying to spy of the Fallen Club to get information for the new club her boss is wanting to open. But Vice catches her spying on his club and he is shocked to find she is alive and well. Which now opens him up to getting back at her for tricking him all those years ago...not to mention stop her from spying. This was a really HOT romance and a great second chance at LOVE! "My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read."

    Steamy second chance romance!

The Seduction of Viscount Vice by Nicola Davidson is the third steamy historical romance novella in the Fallen series, set in a London pleasure club. It is a lusty second chance story, with themes of exhibitionism and playacting taking center stage. Iain 'Vice' Vissen has seen his two club co-owners 'Sin' and 'Devil' find true love, but the woman whom he gave his heart (and body) to as a young man fled an arranged marriage with another man and broke Iain's heart in the process. Thinking her dead (as her parents had announced), he's startled beyond words to discover Mairi MacNair in his club, posing as a footman! Mairi fled her home with her manservant Ramsey (a gay man), both of them escaping a hideous future. She'd always kept a piece of Iain in her heart but had no choice but to head to France, where they became indebted to their eventual employer Yvette who had a pleasure club of her own. Yvette has moved them all to London, in hopes of starting a new club there. Mairi's dream is to be on stage, so playing the role of male footman to spy on Fallen is all part of her acting practice, though discovering that her ex-lover Iain is one of the owners is a shock to the system. If Yvette's plan succeeds, her club will be in direct competition with Iain's, making Mairi and Iain rivals. Discovering their long lost passion is easy – but will Mairi's secrets ruin their second chance? This is a fun, and very sexy read, which is not surprising since the setting is a regency sex club! It's not particularly in-depth historically speaking, but the time period is accurately portrayed in terms of dress and culture. Vice is responsible for the erotic plays that are carried out at Fallen and takes much pleasure (in more ways than one) in developing and acting in them. (Pirate themed seductions are particularly well liked by the crowd). As it turns out, his long lost love Mairi also has a penchant for exhibitionism and costumes so they are well matched in that department. Their reunion at Fallen leads to several scenes between them where they explore these kinks. But Iain is wary of giing his heart away again for good reason. Plus these two are both stubborn Scots! The conflict in the story leads to some rocky times but those quickly give way to a very happy ending for the couple. I enjoyed the scenes with Devil and Sin and their partners, as well as Iain's younger sister Helena (whom I hope to see get a book of her own!). If you haven't picked up the series yet, the first two are equally enjoyable reads, and I recommend the series for historical romance readers who like to spice things up!

    Elegantly sizzling!

THE SEDUCTION OF VISCOUNT VICE (Fallen #3) by Nicola Davidson Out 1 May 125 pages NG md2011 SSBR The Midsummer Night Ball is under way at Fallen, the naughty pleasure club, and one of its owners, Lord Iain Vissen, better known as Vice, has had it of everyone asking when he will get married. His friends and associates have found their better half, but Vice hasn’t. Or rather, he had found her ten years ago, and lost her. Vice is too unsuitable for the ton’s marriage-minded mamas, and also “too Scottish”. Vice is in charge of the staff and the sex performances at Fallen, in which he also participates, he is pacing the floor when he notices a male employee he doesn’t know, and it’s a woman, Mairi MacNair, his long-lost love! Mairi has just come back from Paris, and she’s spying for her boss Yvette, who intends to open a sex club to rival Fallen. I had not even finished reading The Devil’s Submission, the previous book, that I was eagerly anticipating THE SEDUCTION OF VISCOUNT VICE. I generally don’t like too much sex in historicals, but here it’s the purpose of the exercise, and it works splendidly! Vice is an amazing character: he is bold, brash, scared of nothing, rather crude at times, and oh so very Scottish, and I loved that he reverted to Gaelic only when his feathers were ruffled. He is also a perfectionist, he’s rather OCD, and that was a wonderful touch because his obsession with every little detail was very entertaining, and had me chuckling a few times. Mairi and Vice’s story was really terrific, and the novella could easily have been at least 100 pages longer, because there was a lot more to be said. Ms. Davidson is a superb writer, and again the prose is luminous and elegant, the dialogues absolutely splendid and tailored to every character, and I got the sense of movement when Vice was rushing about: THE SEDUCTION OF VISCOUNT VICE is a very visual experience, if I may say so of a book. Vice and Mairi have a devastating backstory, and again, had it been longer, it could have been explored further. I knew it was a short read, but Ms. Davidson is so talented, it would have been a cinch to expand the story. Anyway. The secondary characters are drawn sharply and concisely, and the sex scenes are scorching. I was a bit surprised that there weren’t any of Vice’s performances at the club, maybe again because of the length of the novella. I hope Ms. Davidson will write Helena’s story, Vice’s younger sister, because she definitely has potential! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. I give 4 ½ stars
