The shadow of what was lost

Very enjoyable and reminiscent of Robert Jordan. I will certainly buy the next book when it's available.

A shadow of what was lost

Reminds me of Robert Jordan in style. A strong start for a trilogy and I will definitely keep an eye out for further books. I can't wait to see where this story goes as the world expands.

    Not bad

Promising opening prologue but the writing lets it down as modernisms "input" mar a medieval fantasy world. The characters feel too much like American teenagers. I was slightly frustrated by the lack of reveal of key issues by the end. But some cool adventures and good names.
