    Confusing

I actually thought it was 2 completely different stories at first. I could figure out at first why they where in the book together. I did find the book boring at first. Once you get into the book tho it becomes a good story.

    Good Book

Really enjoyed this book, however,it was drawn out. The book could have been a little shorter or the characters could have been expanded.

Not a favorite in the series

I usually love to relax with a Cora Seton romance set in the favoured location of Chance Creek. However, I felt that the male protagonist( Sheriff Cab) was a bit old school in his thinking( women need to be protected from the evils of the world) and I felt that the female protagonist( Rose) rushed into a relationship way too fast after breaking a 6 year engagement. I also wished that CS had stayed away from the whole Middle Eastern terrorist subplot. Original Goodreads Review 03/02/19
