All is not as it seems

In this book Cathy supports several children and families whose lives intersect with hers. Of particular note is the story of Laura, who suffers a potentially devastating time with post natal depression. As the stories of the children Cathy fosters in this book unfold, we see that not all children in foster care are unloved or abused; many families just need some extra support to be able to do the difficult task of parenting.

    Moving read!

I just love true stories maybe because I'm just nosey or maybe because you just don't realise what is really going on this world. I myself suffered postnatal depression after my 3rd child and have never really got over it so can relate to this book. Keep writing and fostering Cathy you are an amazing person. Can't wait to read another of your stories.

    A moving story....

....ensuring greater awareness of mental health issues and in particular tacking the fear and perceived threat of involving professionals in the fight to combat such an awful illness.
