    The Sister

I could hardly believe this was Louise Jensen's first novel when I read it at the end as it read like a seasoned writer had written it. The story evolves around Grace and Charlie who are childhood friends. They are very close and the other characters are on the periphery impacting on their relationship. The plot was very interesting and quite frightening at times when a third party enters the story and strange things happen to Grace. I don't want to spoil it but I find it difficult to review a book without disclosing a little of the plot. It's a great read and I enjoyed it immensely.

    Great debut!

I really enjoyed this novel and was surprised to learn that it was a debut. This book has a big cast of characters with personalities ranging from damaged and vulnerable though irritating and all the way to psychotic. It is thrilling, chilling, emotional and sad and takes you on a roller coaster of all these feelings as it builds to it's climax with a few big surprises along the way. I enjoyed this immensely, was very creeped out at some of the events and at other times I even had a lump in my throat. So, in all a real roller-coaster with a lot going on, a cast of characters that doesn't disappoint and a few genuine OMG moments! This is exactly what you want from this type of book and I highly recommend it. An easy four stars and would like to be able to give 4.5 for this one! Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher, Bookouture, for allowing me to read this in exchange for my honest review.

    Great read

Very well written debut novel- suspense is built nicely and even though you will probably see some of the the twists coming others will creep up and wallop you over the head. Will definitely be looking out for more by this writer.

    The Sister

This story captured me from the first sentence. I could not stop reading. The portrayals of the people were believeble. What is freindship and how far does loyalty and trust take you? Surprising twists keep you on your toes.
