    Okay

Worth a read. I don't usually read YA books. Story moved along well, characters were well drawn. Thank you

    Good for kids.

A nice little adventure story set in 1700s (?) America. A good read for younger teenagers with a gentle Christian theme running through it.

    The Smugglers Gambit

Excellent seafaring tale for young and old alike. The son of a tavern maid and a missing sailor father, the youth grows up with gossip and teasing leading him into using his fists to reply. One day he hits a local big shot's son and he is brought up on charges. He is forced into apprenticeship under a local warehouse owner and ship chandler. Through this he is led into encounters with local smugglers and pirates. It's a great tale and leaves one wondering what will happen n3xt when he takes to the seas in A Caribbean Adventure.
