Loved It. I really enjoyed this comedic novel about a woman trying to find her way in life in the face of horrific bosses, dead relatives and home improvements. It was funny and sad at the same time, and got me thinking about my own life and choices. I'm looking forward to this author's next novel!

    The sock wars

A lovely read. I could relate to Lucy and her sadness over the loss of her aunt and the struggle to find herself and what she really wanted out of life.

    My 2015 best read

I loved this book. Maia Sepp is an auhor I had not read before but will be again. Her easy reading style was a pleasure, a great plot, and characters you could easily relate too. Thoroughly recommend.

Lucy Tuttle's world changes suddenly when her beloved aunt dies. With no relative left, she has to figure her life on her own. Is she going to give up on her flat in Manhattan to a house in Queens? Is her boyfriend going to move in with her? What is she going to do with her job? Is her life the life she really wants to live? I really liked The Sock Wars because somehow it rings true. It was nice and pleasant to read. I think anyone around their thirties, or feeling maybe they're not following everybody's else way of life, can enjoy it.
