    Amazing book

I read this after THE LAW OF MOSES which was the first Amy Harmon book I've read. I'm so happy I found this author. Best books I've read in a couple of years. THE SONG OF DAVID had me blubbering at the end but it wasn't an unhappy ending. It was amazing - like these two books. You gotta read them!

    4.5 Stars!

Going into this I didn't realize that Moses from The Law of Moses was, again, a main character along with David "Tag" Taggert. It was a nice surprise. No spoilers, but I just want to say that, although I enjoyed this story, it took me a bit to connect. I might have to blame my alternating use of listening to the audiobook with reading a digital copy. When I can, I do this so the story doesn't have to be interrupted by silly things like driving. In retrospect, I think that The Song of David needed to be devoured by one source in a short amount of time in order to invest and immerse. As with any Amy Harmon story, you get all of the feels, introspection, amazingly developed characters, and unique twists, but it wasn't until the last 15% that I was avoiding other responsibilities in order to finish. The ending kind of got to me.

    Brilliant! Un-put-down-able! Beautifully written

Brilliant! Un-put-down-able! Beautifully written and an emotional roller-coaster ride. Ms Harmon is my new favourite author - I loved Law of Moses and The Song of David is just as unforgettable. Ms Harmon brings the characters to life in such a way that I feel that I know them personally and I felt their emotional journey with them. I can't recommend this book highly enough!
