The Sparrow - an interesting, well written Western romance

The first book I read by Kristy McCaffrey was "The Wren" - a KOBO freebie (it's a great idea for KOBO to offer sample works of authors) and the first book in this series of which "The Sparrow" is the third. I obviously enjoyed "The Wren" enough to be interested in the story of the other characters in the book - Logan & Claire, Nathan & Emma, Cale & Tess. I read Nathan & Emma's story before Longan & Claire (#2 -"The Dove") as I found the synopsis of their story more intriguing. It is. The story brings the reader to a fascinating journey along the Colorado River and through the Grand Canyon, as well as an interesting glimpse into the spirit world through the eyes of different people in another time and place yet not so different from now. Kristy McCaffrey is a gifted writer and storyteller who knows how to weave words to captivate a reader fron start to finish. I am glad to find another such author who is into Western Romance!
