This was a pretty good story although I found some of the Chinese explanations dragged out a bit. Otherwise I give it a 4 star.

    The Stone Monkey

A good sequel to the Bone Collector, but not as good. Somehow I just couldn't get into the book. It seemed to lack the character of Lincoln Rhime as did the first book. And what's with this whole Amelia wants to get pregnant with Rhime's baby? That came out of nowhere. There was no preliminary romantic interludes to even suggest a relationship--and my mind just can't comprehend how that would be possible considering the only part of Rhime's body that moves or has feeling is his thumb. This book seems to focus more on Sachs than Rhime's incredible brain, which hooked me in the first book.
