The strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

Read this for my English GCSE new spec to be completely frank. Quite an interesting book.

    Still as I remember it

I have read this book many years ago, it was nice to be able to revive such a classic. Frankly this was one of Robert Louis Stevenson's best works in my overall opinion because in a way it shows how no matter how much we think we know or can do science and medical knowledge and experiments can be dangerous if not done carefully and thought out.

    Wild from start to finish

I read this the first time as a teenager and adored the wildness of the whole affair, especially given the time period (I was well under the impression nothing really excited until colour TV, teenagers are idiots). A thrilling tale of a male tearing himself apart trying to do something great, relatable in an abstract sort of way

A challenging, but thought provoking read

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was very thought provoking. The written style felt quite old, and given the date it was written, it makes sense why. Because of this, it was a harder read, but once I got used to it, all was well. The author used many phrases that I found clever, and I spent time highlighting them so that I could recall them later. All in all, I would recommend this book.

    A classic

Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde is the book I've read on the app and I enjoyed this classic book. I'm so glad that I was able to read it for free
