    Overrated

Based on so many good reviewa on goodreads, I happen to buy this book. Neither a fairytale nor a moving story. I don't understand why people find the book so good. Well if you like ya, that book may be an option if only you like short episodes.

    Day Long Romance Adventure

I really wanted to like this novel, I did, I did but... Well I didn't like it all that much. "I'm going to pretend my future's wide open, and that anything can happen." The Sun Is Also A Star takes place on a fall day in New York. Daniel Bae, a korean-american teen, has decided to let the universe "guide" him on his "final day of childhood". Natasha Kingsley, an undocumented Jamaican immigrant, is facing deportation and is desperate to stop the inevitable from happening. Daniel and Natasha couldn't be anymore different if they tried. Daniel is optimistic and believes in fate and love and God while Natasha believes in science and has lost all belief in love and God. "I walk down Seventh Avenue toward my barber, keeping my eye out for some kind of Sign." Walking down the street Daniel spots Natasha completely lost in her music across the street. Daniel instantly is enamored with Natasha and believes that they are meant to be. Daniel follows Natasha into a music store, they catch her cheating ex and "the other girl"robbing records and bond over the dumbfounding situation. He saves her life, they go for coffee, they argue over true love and love at first sight. Daniel persuades Natasha to let him prove to her that love at first sight exists by using science and a questionnaire. Here their journey begins: does love at first sight and meant to be's exist? This day long romance adventure is a fast read and most definitely for people who like insta-love stories.
