    Awesome book!!

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. After walking away from their relationship nearly three years before, Ashlyn discovers that she still has feelings for Dante when she encounters him again at a Hollywood event. The pair soon discover that they have unfinished business and struggle with their feelings when exploring them. Can the pair reconcile their feelings and the past?? These strong characters ensured that I was unable to put this book down. They were believable and genuine. The story itself was well developed and intriguing as well as real as the characters struggle with themselves and the truth behind their feelings.

My heart is a roller coaster of emotions.

I have read Ember Casey's previous novels before and it was just amazing! So when I heard about The Sweet Taste of Sin, I couldn't sign up fast enough. I'm telling you now: if you haven't read any of Ember Casey's books, you should! You're missing out. A lot. I have a thing for enthralling blurbs; it immediately pulls me in. Three years trying to get over Dante Fontaine-- I say that there is a i-hate-you-but-i-love-you kind of relationship. I fantasized what would happen before this book was sent to me and I know it will be sinfully good. Look who's got a new book boyfriend! Ember Casey left my heart completely, utterly and unregretfully a roller coaster of emotions. She makes these electrifying scenes leaving me defenseless; somehow gets out of the book to sear your body throughout that had me jumping, squealing and making dying pterodactyl noises at the same time plus my sister giving me weird looks. I was high from no-elsa-cant-stop-these-feels. And I freaking loved it. The Sweet Taste of Sin is a perfect blend of humor, romance, passion and angst that had me literally out of my seat. No doubt my favourite book of Ember Casey so far! If you enjoy these kinds of books, give this a try and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

    Passionate, Sexy Hot Read!

Book Excursions Book Reviews 5 Stars!!! I was given this book in turn for an honest review. Dante left Ashlyn broken hearted; when their lives cross paths three years later; the passion they shared is as strong as the day they parted. Can they find the solace they once had or have too many bridges been burned? Ember Casey has written a passionate, sexy, HOT, fascinating romance. I truly did not want to put this book down; however my sleepy eyes at one point did get the better of me. The characters in book #2 of the Fontaine series are all loveable; I absolutely loved Ashlyn's best friend Jack, his humour was brilliant and he was a great friend to Ashlyn; although at one point I did want to slap him. Mama Pat is another great character; she was the rock and reason that Ashlyn needed to see what was in front of her. I could feel the pain Ashlyn was going through with the dilemma she was facing. As a character Ashlyn was witty and didn't hold back her thought's; her fiery nature was what made her the perfect match for Dante Fontaine. Dante himself was irresistible; not for his charm or his status, because he was real with Ashlyn, he laid his heart on the line and wasn’t an arrogant celebrity; it was clear that sometimes he tolerated the industry he was apart off. Ember Casey has shown her talent yet again in Sweet Taste of Sin; without a doubt she is an excellent writer and I cannot wait to read more from the Fontaine brothers. This book can be read as a standalone; to fully enjoy and appreciate the story I recommend reading The Secret to Seduction first. If you enjoy humorous romances, with suspense and passion you will absolutely love Sweet Taste of Sin by Ember Casey.

After three years Ashlyn met him again and in very bad circumstances. He had been her everything but that didn’t last. Now she felt she was in a nightmare. She had been healing her heart all those years, trying to forget but now everything was coming back and her treacherous heart was awakening and responding to him. For three years Dante Fontaine had never stop regretting he let her walk away from him. He had felt empty. Work and pleasures around him meant nothing. Those had not been enough. He had not forgotten Ashlyn and now that he had saw her he won’t let her walk away this time. Can Ashlyn trust Dante? Would she accept what he had to offer? It took him too long to make up his mind and that’s not healthy in a relationship. This story deals with many emotions. The characters had suffered, both of them. Dante had been selfish and Ashlyn impulsive. They had not nourished their relation as a couple back then. Sometimes there are second chances but still there were issues that they had to deal with. I think that Dante needed to share his fears with Ashlyn and strength her from the beginning of their relationship. She seemed to be willing but needed help with her weaknesses and he was a major one for her. Through the last three years her friend, Jack, had been her crutch and had gave her confidence to move forward with her pain for what she had lost. Good character this Jack. The intensity of Ashley’s and Dante relationship was showed through the steamy sex narrations and Ashlyn fights with herself. She really was struggling with herself. The author took her time to develop Ashlyn character and let us see her strengths and weaknesses (as Dante points out) during the story. Liked the writing style and the emotions the author made me felt. The theme and how it was developed was very good.
