    Interesting book

Despite thinking otherwise, this book was a fairly easy read. This due to the author's engaging style of writing and the matter of fact delivery of the material. He successfully manages to convey the science, breaking it down so the average person can follow, while light heartedly telling sometimes tragic tales to illustrate the point.

    Very interesting

An interesting history, sometimes a slightly terrifying history. I am very glad to live now. :-) :-)

    Neurosurgeons

It shows me how mysterious the mind is. And what a magnificent machine it is. It gives me an insight into how I manage my neuropathy (a result of a missing gene). Why nerve impulses are not properly passed on to my brain and vice versa because of short circuits.

    Fascinating, funny and unbelievable.

Very entertaining book. Thorough and unique in its exploitation of patients brain injuries and the relationship to what it means to be human.

    A Revealing Saga

A very clear precise and sometimes amusing explanation of the workings of the brain. For me it clarified many affects that I had read in other books without total comprehension.
