    A great read!

I loved this book, the main characters are fascinating, we are drawn into their lives and adventure with them. I thoroughly enjoyed the glimpse of Canada's history tbrough their eyes and felt saddened by the loss of a way of life. I had trouble putting this book down, I was so involved with the characters, a great read!

The Three Sisters Bar and Grill

This was a hauntingly beautiful read that was indeed thoroughly researched. Although I have visited this area, the Three Sister's Bar and Grill has given me a deeper sense of understanding the mountains, and life within them. This book was a page turner and you will understand why when you are introduced to Herbie and the family he is guiding through the Rockies. You will smell the air, feel the pony sweat, see the morning sun make its way past the Sisters, and wonder where the trail will take you.

    Enjoyable, fascinating, long

I enjoyed this book. For the most part, it kept me reading and turning the page. I spent part of my child hood in Banff and we still frequent that area so it was good to learn more history. I appreciated how the author wove her extensive research into a good story. At the same time, this book could have been shorter. It would then have been an even better book. According to the Kobo stats, I spent 17 hours reading this book and I usually read fast.
