    Enlightening

It was mind blowing....and filled with alot of history. Quite an interesting read. It was really good to see the history of black slavery from another point of view and in this case...several points of view. The writer has a way with words.

Exciting read - excellent blend of facts and fiction

The truth about Awiti takes you through time as you explore the deplorable things that transpired during trans-atlantic slave trade. The mesh of actual facts and fantasy fiction is so wonderfully blended, it makes you question and think what if? CP Patrick takes you on a journey across the world following Awiti and her connection through the dark times Africans had to experience. Absolutely wonderful book for those interested in African studies and wondering where to start their research.

It describes the main character Awiti.

The book tells a good story of slavery and how it affects Awiti.

    Meh....

It's just a bunch a short stories connected to the main story. Like main story about 25 short stories that have the main character and the end.

    Very interesting

It is a fiction with many real historic facts about slavery in general but mostly to North America. Sad facts , suffering from slaves, hurricanes, and how the author relates all the injustice, hate and suffering together in the spiritual realm ,turning the emotions in powerful destruction in form of hurricanes. Interesting to know more about the ugly face of slavery in our world.
