    As excellent as ever!

Each of the Twenty Palaces novels is a gem. Read them - you won't regret it. Ray Lilly, the protagonist, is a hardboiled ex-con without pretensions and he is well aware that he is a disposable cog in a relentless machine. Ray's relatable, funny, and has a keen eye for observation. I eagerly devour each new episode in the series, and had recently despaired seeing another when the previous publisher ceased commissioning new works. Let's hope that this marks a new path forward towards many new novels to come. I want more. More!

    Great Read

Another great entry in the Twenty Palaces series, opening up the wider mythos a little more.
