    Holds nothing back.

The V Card is a bit of a new direction for Lauren Blakely. The beauty of her characters is that they take pride in being bold. Her stories hold nothing back and that makes for humorously entertaining temptation. This time around there are elements of a vulnerability that is refreshing. At the core of the relationship between CJ and Graham is a friendship that has withstood teenage crushes, heartbreaking tragedy and growing into adulthood. The bond they share is much stronger than lust and is an ever evolving story that morphs into love. The boldness and humor are still there, just softened by the breathtaking emotions that drive this relationship from friendship to romance. Blakely and Valente work well together.

    I loved every word!

Ok, so seriously, what do you do when you hear two of your favorite authors are writing a book together. Together! You scream. You message them. You text your friends. I've been waiting for this for a long time. Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente are two of the most talented writers I've ever read. Add in what incredible women they are and it's a recipe for success. The V Card is the perfect mix of their rom/com laughs, blushing sexiness and loveable characters. It's a friends to lovers romance with a unique twist. CJ is almost twenty-six and she is in desperate need of losing her virginity and learn how to seduce a man. Her brother's best friend is the perfect candidate. She's comfortable with him, he's sexy, and he's a player. So, who better to teach her how to ways of seduction than the sexiest man in Manhattan. Graham is CEO of his own company and he needs help from CJ. When he approaches her he finds out that she wants something in return. Can he be CJ's sexspert? When their lessons are over can they remain friends? I loved this story. It's fun, sexy as sin, silly and full of heart. CJ and Graham learn things about themselves while learning what drives the other crazy. I loved watching their love story unfold, with is fun antics, witty banter and entertaining secondary characters. Overall, I laughed, cried, got hot and bothered and laughed more. I sighed and swooned at the end! I can't wait to see what else Lauren and Lili will come up with! "I just want to be able to drive a man crazy. To please and satisfy him in every way." My d insists he and I could teach her how a real man treats a woman. But my d isn't the best barometer. D are notoriously untrustworthy. I really did pick the best teacher in the enter history of the world.

    Very fun and entertaining!

This is a wonderful story of friends to lovers. Caroline Jessica "CJ" Murphy has been friends with Graham Campbell for years. After all he was her brother, Sean's best friend. After Sean passed away suddenly, Graham has always looked out for CJ and been a big brother to her. When CJ and Graham meet up for one of their usual Sunday brunch dates, they both have something they need to ask of the other. Graham would like CJ to speak at a board meeting to help save the lingerie company that him and Sean started. This was a perfect opportunity for CJ to ask Graham what she would like.....she would like him to help her lose her virginity and help her be more knowledgeable in that area. Graham is's Sean's little sister....this goes against everything. But CJ is so desperate she bribes Graham....she will help him if he spends the next week teaching her and helping her to lose her virginity and then she will speak at the board meeting. After much soul searching, Graham agrees. This story was so fun! I just adored Graham. To most people he was a playboy, but really deep down he is a great guy. I just loved his lessons with CJ. It was entertaining watching her open up and own her sensuality. Even though CJ always had a crush on Graham, it was fun watching their friendship change to something more with each lesson they went through. In the end they both got their happy ending that they didn't even know they were looking for!

    5 wickedly fun stars!!!!

The V Card is Ms. Blakely and Ms. Valente’s first story together. I didn’t know what to expect going in but I was extremely pleased with the outcome. These two ladies did a phenomenal job writing a charming and very addictive story. I couldn’t tell when Lauren or when Lili was writing the story, I’d love to know who wrote what since it’s definitely a story with perfectly smooth transitions from author to author. The V Card is exactly what you think it might be of my absolute favorite tropes!!! Graham Campbell runs a successful company on his own after his partner passes away. His partner has a beautiful sister named CJ. When CJ comes to help Graham with the company shareholders, she asks for a favor of her own. She wants to get rid of the wretched virginity she’s been stuck with for so long and needs someone to help with that. Will Graham rise to the occasion to help out a girl in need? Find out all about it in The V Card when it releases. This is one funny, sexy and charming read. I bow down to Ms. Blakely and Ms. Valente, these two are a powerful duo!!! I hope to see more from these two ladies in the very near future. 5 wickedly fun stars!!!!

    Witty, sexy and fun!

**Advanced copy provided by the author in exchange for an honest review** What do you get when you put two of the most talented romance writers out there together to write a book? An instant winner! That is exactly what The V Card is. Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente are great in their own right and together, this is a wonderful, witty and romantic collaboration! CJ Murphy seemingly has it all. She runs a business, she's got great friends and a great apartment, but at nearly 26, the one thing she still has that she wishes she didn't is her virginity. She's dead set on finally losing her V Card and she knows just who she wants to take care of it - her brother's best friend and business partner, Graham Campbell. Graham Campbell has just had a huge curveball thrown at him. The board of directors of his company isn't sure he should stay in the CEO roll now that his business partner, Sean, has passed away. Knowing that reaching out to CJ, Sean's sister, could help his cause due to her large stake in the company, he does so, but what he doesn't realize is she has a proposal of her own for him. She wants him to serve as her sexpert. Once Graham agrees to help CJ out, they start their lessons and sparks fly immediately. Can the two of them really go through this series of "lessons" without feelings getting involved? Or will this end up tearing their friendship apart? I was immediately immersed in this story. It was witty, sexy, silly, fun and definitely full of heart. I always enjoy the writing of both Blakely and Valente, but putting their talents together was definitely a recipe for success! I would love to see another collaboration from these two talented ladies in the future!
