    Thanks for your feedback!

definitely a series to not miss out on!

I was immediately entranced by the first book, free on the e-book vendor platforms, and even tho' I did try NOT to want to continue Muse's life with her personal, very real and not always internal demon, it was impossible to avoid going for more! Pippa DaCosta has a fresh, action-based, emotionally overwhelming way of portraying a life that seems more lived than described during the narration. Not having any preconceptions based on a character or ambient description, the average reader may feel slightly confused, at first, when trying to obtain a full picture of Muse, her survival tactics after living through what gradually comes through as an abused life because of her ... dual personality ... In fact, being half demon, half human, and actually having managed to come out of the land of demons on the other side of the Veil, that divides the world, or maybe other dimension, inhabited by demons, from our 'normal' human world, which may or may not be much better, we come to realize that, like so many in today's world, she is the stuff of her past, and the past is often overwhelming. Her ability to interact with other beings (demons or humans, according to the moment) can only be based on conditioned feelings that are so hard to overcome, yet she survives. This series is one that, even after having read through all the books (there are others out there, fortunately! not nearly enough, once you have lived as Muse, but there are more coming!), the readers will find themselves coming back again, for more. Even if only to read something already read. Like many classics, this is one set of books that can be read numerous times and still display hidden points, angles, and horn-tips!

Amazing! I couldn't put it down. I've bought the next 2 books in the Veil series. The characters really pull you in.

    Not good

Female protagonist is dull, dull, dull. I read book 1 &2 and can't even remember her name. Basically she has a whole lot of power but can't seem to use it and needs rescuing every 5 minutes.
