  • The warsaw protocol

Another good history lesson by a great author although not as good as his last history lesson. Still entertaining reading.

  • Great Cotton Malone tale

Really good Cotton Malone story, as usual mixed with travel and historical facts. Good cast of characters here - really liked the villains. Definitely worth the read - especially if you want to know more about Polish history which is fascinating.

  • Defined the story

I have read all his stories to date, including this book. Most of them have been on my Kobo ereader. He is an awesome author and I love the stories he tells that have some historical information or direction. He just can' write fast enough for me as I live with a book by my side.

  • One of the best in the Cotton Malone series

I'm a Steve Berry (Cotton Malone series) fan. I've enjoyed many of the books in the series (some more then others). I especially liked this one for a number of reasons. The story was believable and there weren't many areas that seemed too fantastic to actually happen. My wife grew up in Poland under Communism for 21 years before coming to the USA. So, I have a very good understanding of what life under Communism/Socialism is like. During those years you never knew who to trust, who was listening, and people did vanish mysteriously. Berry made some very good points about this in the story. I've also visited Poland a number of times and I'm familiar with many of the sites in the story (Wieliczka salt mine, Krakow's city center, Wawel Castle, Jasna Gora, and others). Having visited these really helped with the visualization of what was happening in these places. The plot of putting missiles in Poland was being pushed by some, rejected by others, and with the threat of blackmail made for an interesting read. If you like this series this is one of the best.

  • Poland

Another great Cotton Malone story with a host of historical details. A good mix of facts and fiction. Steve has a way of engaging his audience and keeping it riveted. Can’t wait to see what Danny Daniels wants from Cotton! Maybe Ms Vitt will also be involved. Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long to find out!

    Thanks for your feedback!
