    Fantastic

This is a fantastic small town romance that I absolutely adored. Gabby and Caden are great characters and they fit perfectly together. Gabby is a people pleaser, always following the path others have laid out for her. She does have a secret passion and that's writing. She would love to lose the day job and write full time but the best she can do is a creative writing class at the local college. That's where she meets Caden Marshall. He's a well known published author with a severe case of writer's block. Teaching is the next best thing. Problem is being attracted to one of your students could get him in all kinds of hot water. The pull between them is strong though. Can they wait until she's no longer his student? What will happen then? Great read with some amazing writing and characters. Put this on the must read list, I highly recommend it.

    I loved these characters!

This was my first book by Miranda Liasson. I'm ready for the next! I really, really liked this book. The main characters got off to a rocky start--over a parking spot. After the incident, the both discover that Caden is Gabby's professor for the writing class she signed up for. That's not awkward at all! Caden's past marriage left him with absolutely no desire to get involved with anyone ever again. However, Gabby is pretty darn cute! She's attracted to him, but he seems determined to make her life miserable in class.Even if they get past all that, there's still the problem of him being her professor. They have other issues to overcome, too. Will it ever work out? I loved Liasson's characters. They were strong, but also had their vulnerabilities and quirks. Some of the secondary characters were absolutely delightful Caden's little girl was so precious and the grandmother was a total hoot! I missed the first in the series, but I'll be going back to pick it up. I was given a copy of this book from Netgalley. All thoughts are my own.

    Sweet Love!

This is the second sweet story from the new Angel Falls series. It is another glimpse into the small town life of the homey Angel Falls and Ms. Liasson’s continuation of showing us the lives and loves of this friendly and connected little town. This is Caden and Gabby’s story. It is a “forbidden” ,for lack of a better term, relationship since Caden is technically the writing instructor for Gabby’s new potential career. But you also have the single dad thing going on and that adds just another element in to the mix. Caden doesn’t want or need the added complication but can’t seem to help himself. Gabby has goals to reach and certainly isn’t looking to find a Mr. Right Now… Sweet love story without too much angst or drama, just every day normal issues in a small town with family and friends and expectations. I enjoy these stories because they are so easy to relate to, unlike some other books in this genre.

    Loved This Story

Second in the Angel Falls series and once again lured me right into the story and kept me there until the last page. Gabby is grinding through her days working in a law firm trying to make partner and is almost there. Her life is her job, pretty much does what she felt was expected of her. Have a real job and not something fanciful like being a writer like her late mother. But she does sign up for a creative writing class taught by an author and single dad Caden. Caden has moved to Angel Falls to teach at the local college after his award winning first novel gets upended by his ex wife and boatload of drama surrounding that. His publisher is waiting for his next book but Caden has lost his muse and motivation. He's playing it safe by choosing to teach in order to take care of his daughter. His daughter comes first since his ex is absent. His mother owns the bookstore in town. Gabby just so happens to be in Caden's class and after a run in with each other in the parking lot the tone seems to be set for their relationship. He's a real jerk to Gabby in class. He pretty much cuts her off at the knees but Gabby is no pushover. She counters his every line. He needs to get hired on permanently and is busy writing a grant that will ensure him a position. Gabby decides to go through her mother's papers and reads some of her work, inspiring her a little more to write and follow her heart. Meanwhile we see the relationship between Caden and Gabby evolve, along with daughter Ava. I loved the plot line and the writing was stellar. It's refreshing to read a book that has two adults act like adults, baggage and all, the dialogue real. From beginning to end this book is another stellar work from Miranda! I love this series and look forward to the next book! arc from NetGalley and the publisher

It's okay to follow your heart.

Cheers to all the dreamers, who aren't afraid to dream. This story goes out to you. The Way You Love Me is a reminder that It's okay to follow your heart. Even when the odds are stacked against you. Gabby and Caden have spent a great deal of their lives living for others. When fate brings them face to face, will their level heads steer them toward a broken heart? Liasson continues to lead with her heart and turn reading into an emotionally fulfilling experience.
