  • I wanna live in Nocturne Falls

I receive an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. "Handsome Hank, the dream come true." Perfect sentence to describe this book. We return to Nocturne Falls where it is Halloween 24/7. A perfect place for supernaturals of all kinds to blend in and let the enchanted waters blur what is real with what is pretend. Hank and Ivy are going to have an arranged marriage, which is pretty common for opposing werewolf packs in order to keep the peace. Ivy has a few secrets that she has been ordered to keep from Hank, but Hank being the good cop that he is sniffs them out and eliminates all her worries along the way. Ivy can't believe her good luck, not only is her intended handsome, but he manages to make all her dreams come true. Read on to find out what Ivy's secrets and dreams are and how Hank manages to eliminate any roadblocks in his way. Great story, fantastic complex characters, (Can't wait to see if Ivy's uncle and Hank's aunt become a couple), a little bit of mystery, a little bit of romance and a lot of great storytelling. Amazing read!

  • Romance and mystery

Loved the characters. Always lenjoy how the hero or heroine struggle to get beyond their tragic past. Loved how the town paranormals support each other

  • It was fun

A story full of sweet, likeable, characters, and some not so nice ones. I was happy that the new characters were different than the first book in the series and that the book has a different tone than the first one. It *wasn't* the same story being told with new names, by any means. However, the characters are as realistic as those on shows like Dukes of Hazard, Charlie's Angels, Charles in Charge, the Cosby Show, etc. except with serious tragedy in the background of some of the characters (not to mention that they are also supernatural). Plus, characters who are likable, seem to all like each other, almost immediately upon meeting. Lots of kindness between characters in this book. Lots of people being nice. If all that sounds good to you, give the book a try. If you want characters drawn more realistically, I would move on to another supernatural romance, in another series. The book is fun, if it is what you are in the mood for.

  • Fun and adventure!

I really enjoy reading this Nocturne Falls series. It's fun. I mean Halloween 365 days a year, what could be more fun than that? The characters in this book were strong and caring. Hank was, of course, a strong male lead but Ivy, well, she was no she-wolf to mess with either. I liked Aunt Birdie's take charge attitude and the family's easy acceptance of Ivy and Charlie. I've already started to read the next book in the series. More adventure, more fun!

  • Great second book!

This is another great story set in Nocturne Falls. I like the fact that the female character, Ivy, is this strong independent woman who speaks her mind.
