    The Wild Truth

I enjoyed reading the history of the McCandless family. It is so sad Chris's only escape from his past and frustration with his parents were to get as far away as possible. His reality and his parents reality were to far apart for reconciling. Great book sad circumstances.

    The wild truth

What a tragedy. Losing a brother is hard no matter how it happens. This nonfiction account is going to haunt my thoughts for a very long time. To understand great happiness we have to have had great sadness. Embrace your life and seek your own truth.

    Just ok....

An interesting background to the story of 'into the wild' but found it a bit long and tedious in places.

    The Wild Truth

It's so surprising what can be going on behind closed doors. One never knows, do one? Chris McCandless ' story as related in Into the Wild was fascinating in itself but to learn so much more about him, his sister and their family was rivetting. Thank you for stepping forward with The Wild Truth.
