    Thanks for your feedback!

    Absolutely amazing book :)

OMG this book was amazing. I have read the Solus series which was fantastic and I never thought it could possibly be topped but this standalone book deffinetly topped it. I loved all the twists and the love story, I could not put the book down until it was finished, I read it cover to cover in one sitting. I am sure who ever reads it is going to love it and not be able to put it down until finished either. Love this author can not wait for another book :) Only thing I wish now is that some director sees it and makes it a movie, now that will be epic :D

    The Wizard's Heir

I was provided with a copy of The Wizard’s Heir in exchange for an honest review. I can honestly say that I love wizards and hunters now, thanks to this author! This story is fantastic and darker than her other series, which I thoroughly enjoy. It begins with a recap of Tybolt’s youth as it is ripped out from underneath him by a wizard-made storm. As a man by the name of Hess takes him away from the death of his mother and sister, he is then relocated into the village of Eriroc as a blue-eyed Hunter. Hunters are immune to Wizards, but with his blue eyes, the village is skeptical of his appearance. Having proved himself worthy, he becomes a Hunter who cares more for his village than the king himself. King Rowan starves his people in order to keep the lavish life and those of the Hunters’ well fed and groomed. What Tybolt doesn’t know, is that his nineteenth birthday could change everything he ever knew about the tragedy that befell his family and the age old hatred between Wizards and Hunters. Is he strong enough to defeat what must come next? First of all, I really love Auriella. She is an astounding character filled with determination, fierceness, and wit. Her courage surpasses that of most Hunters, but she has taken a liking to Tybolt. I enjoy reading about this wonderful character that the author seems to have spent a lot of time creating. Tybolt is another character that I couldn’t get enough of either. His confusion is very emotional, especially after learning new things about the family that he lost during the Fracture. He is alone in the world, which really pulled at my heart. It made me have hope for him, the further I read into the story. Another character by the name of Malachi, is so much fun to read about. As Tybolt’s servant, the boy cannot control his movements very well and stumbles over everything. I found it enlightening when the author incorporated Malachi’s character during serious scenes, like a beacon of light protruding through a dark tunnel. Rowan is also a favorite character due to the depth of his hatred and his desire for power. The author makes a superb character out of him and my emotions really reacted to the mention of his name within this story. My least favorite character is Terric because he made my skin crawl. In my opinion, The Wizard’s Heir is a story that deserves five stars! Not only have I read two out of four of the author’s Solus Series, but I find her books to be well written and highly creative and original. I enjoy reading Fantasy and recommend this story to those who also enjoy this genre. What I found to really excite me the most about this read is the development of the characters. Her characters, both evil and good are equally descriptive and motivational. The scenes and imagery are perfectly visible in my mind and the pace is fast, which I also like. I am happy to say that I am looking forward to reading more from this amazing author!
