  • If you want to play with the big boys, do your hom

The author's style is developing. She has the right idea. I like this story line, but at the end rushed and missed some great opportunities to make this a great read. I liked the story line, the luxury boat, most of the characters seem believable. Ruth should spend more time developing them.

  • Why isn't there a missing passenger?

I have read many reviews saying this is a story reminiscent of Agatha Christie's works. That is the case, so I guess that's why it sometimes grabs you and sometimes plods along, but if you pay attention there are a lot of clues strewn along the way, and in the end you keep guessing and guessing and guessing and are probably wrong and surprised at the ending. Lo Blacklock is not very likable, even after the home invasion and everything that happens to her, but you somehow feel she is not the usual unreliable narrator. You know there is something wrong and you send she is in danger. I kept wanting to say stop, don't go there, don't ask that question. But she persisted. A lot of twists and turns and a somewhat surprising ending. Good read.

  • Mystery

Excellent story. Read a few months before this became "popular." Highly recommend.

  • Character Abundance

This novel had an interesting story line, although there was a little too much history of each character. The inclusion of the Internet and newspaper postings were disconcerting because there was no time line for the reader to follow. This caused a little frustration for the reader. I did enjoy the storyline. It held your interest from the middle to the ending. I did not care very much for the ending which left too much to the imagination. I do recommend this book as a decent read with an appropriate amount of excitement.

  • You have GOT to read this!

'The Woman in Cabin 10' was an excellent novel that was filled with suspense. It's been awhile since I stayed up until midnight to finish a book. The main character may not be the most likeable person at first, but stick with it and you find yourself rooting for her. The book came to a very surprising and satisfying conclusion. But hang on, because the last third of the book is just a nail-biting roller coaster ride!
