    A slow-burner

An interesting read and a definite slow-burner. I disliked all of the characters as each seemed to become more vile the more I got to know them. I wasn't sure about it for quite a long time then realised I was actually quite engrossed and needed to see how it would all end! I liked it, it won't be one of my favourites of the year, but it's certainly one that I will remember. I will definitely look out for more from the author as I did enjoy the writing style. Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for providing an electronic copy in exchange for my honest review.

    The woman next door

I couldn't put this book down it absolutely intrigued me. I think we have all had a well meaning neighbour like Hester at sone stage of our life. Her busybody well meaning actions get her and her neighbour racing from one crisis to another. At times I had to laugh and felt quite guilty given this novel is a thriller. Cass Green has that rare talent of drawing the reader into the novel and making it all seem so real. Thank you for a great story.

    Woman next door

Predictable outcome, not suspenseful enough. The viewpoint from the 2 characters was monotonous at points

    Must read

Excellent, amazing book. Complicated, unexpected plot. This book is so surprising. It builds and builds in complexity and the twists in the plot are brilliant. Don't be fooled with a glance. It may start by seeming tame but it most definitely surpasses all expectations. Not to be missed.

    Quirky but enjoyable

I liked how the author creates characters. They are so vivid, although somewhat odd. This isn't my new favorite book, but it's a fun way to pass some time.
