    History exposed

Very well explained account of what really happened behind the scenes as the other war is fought far from the front lines.

Great story of a lost heroine

We have all heard about Alan Turing, Bletchley Park and the breaking of the Enigma code. Who knew that, all this time, we had a true heroine of code breaking right here under our noses? This book tells one amazing story about Elizabeth Friedman after another. The Brits weren’t the only ones to break the Enigma codes...Elizabeth Friedman did, too. I’m so glad that the story of this amazing woman has finally been brought out of the shadows.
