    Excellent Read

As tough as the subject is-this is an incredible read. It was easy to follow and connect the characters lives. It was so real, raw and messy-just like life! We so want an easy and immediate solution and we find in this story heart wrenching choices.

    The Women in the Castle

Often confusing, but more often sad. It's just amazing how so many knew I'd the atrocities being committed and carried those beliefs in their hearts. Until the end, I really didn't care for Marienna with her air of superiority. She refused to accept that everyone, including her and her family, didn't deserved to he treated as equal to her. She really had no moral compass until after tragedy struck her in the face. For the longest time, she didn't realize that she was the kne deprived of warmth and love. I guess it's just as well that she could at least feel a bit of empathy. It is so hard for high and mighty to admit fault.

    The women in the Castle

Extraordinary story about the relationships of women in war and about decisions made and how to live with them.
