The title is the best part

Not what I expected. Interesting in a ‘scene-of-an-accident’ kind of way. If I knew more about it in the first place, I wouldn’t have read it. I finished it more out of curiousity, to see how it would end, rather than it was a must-read to the end. Would I recommend it? Probably not. Would I read it again? No! Overall it was just a little sad, but not in a good way.

    Excellent reading.

This book is insightful and sad and humerous at the same time. I could relate to Linsay and applaud her writing skills. I could not put the book down once I started reading it.

    Asian Superstitions in The West

I was a little disappointed to not find out if the Wong family received the critical psychiatric help that was obviously needed.

    The Woo Woo

Rarely do I find a book too difficult to read. I made it to the end, but it was harsh. I found some of it hard to believe, but it may be my own lack of cultural understanding??? I just don't know. The emotional abuse was horrific. I would have loved to hear more about the healing journey, and how things are for her today. We never know what goes on behind closed doors, and sometimes it just isn't good.
